Internationality – a catalyst for innovation
On the crucial role of internationality and flexibility for the Brückner Group’s technological leadership
Top quality in systems and equipment for the production and processing of plastics and alternative materials. This is what the Brückner Group stands for – all over the world. The Group’s longstanding international tradition has established a philosophy of openness across every department. The culture is one of approachability as well as interest in new ideas and approaches. This open-mindedness also has a long-term strengthening effect on the Brückner Group’s technological innovative power.
Research and development – without borders
The diverse know-how that employees from around the world bring to development processes with their different qualifications, talents, and experiences makes for a top-quality skill pool. This extraordinary expertise allows the Brückner Group to continuously drive technological progress. From new film formulations and materials to repeated research success in the field of natural fibers, polymers, and bio-based polymers, from smart tube design solutions to innovation in medical and pharmaceutical products.
Another benefit for Brückner Group employees are the numerous opportunities to gain international work experience.
Our global orientation makes the Brückner Group a highly attractive employer. Many tasks promote in-depth exchange with customers and colleagues in other countries. What’s more, we support stays abroad within the Brückner Group, within the framework both of international projects or training programs and traditional secondments in all Group companies. Working with us is a great way to discover the world.
“Our most valuable resource are our employees.”
The Brückner Group employs 2,700 people at 17 locations in 12 countries.
Our employees are at the heart of our Group. Their talents, expertise, and enthusiasm make our shared success possible. Whether in Siegsdorf, Freilassing, Rüti, Topolcany, Navi Mumbai, Dover, or Suzhou, working here means playing a part in an environment where personal development and team spirit are lived out.
Individuality – a factor of success
The Brückner Group lives diversity in all its facets, offering employees the opportunity to develop in a diverse and supporting environment and pursue innovative pathways together. The result, according to Größ: “Each and every employee is appreciated here.”
The focus on personnel development is also evident in the individual career paths within the Brückner Group. Employees have the opportunity to develop across locations, helping them prepare to take on new areas of responsibility – a model for success that solidifies both innovation and loyalty.

International networks from day one
Since 2022, international Welcome Days have been put on for new employees and first-time managers, with colleagues from all locations participating. But even trainees enjoy the opportunity to make new contacts in other platform companies and gain valuable overseas experience. International networking and exchange are also the focus of the management development program “Global Connect”. The international pool of participants bolsters international skills and raises awareness for diversity within the company.
Diversity and equal opportunity – more than mere lip service
To show its active commitment to its values, the Brückner Group has developed a detailed code of conduct. Among other things, the code of conduct promotes diversity and tolerance within the company and advocates for equal opportunities in the labor market.
To us, the traditional values of a family business and our flexibility and adaptability are not at odds, but instead complement each other, resulting in the innovative power that has ultimately given us the technological edge.
A popular workplace in the Brückner Group: the wide world
From Germany to China or from Mumbai to Siegsdorf? No problem! Here are a few examples of international careers at the Brückner Group.
Thomas Schallinger
Thomas Schallinger, Head of Group Controlling and Accounting at the Brückner Group, returned to the strategic management holding company in 2025 following a four-year secondment to Brueckner Group USA, where he served as CFO. About his time in Portsmouth:
Having worked intensively with my American colleagues in my previous role, I already knew some of the employees. This extremely dedicated team made it a lot easier for me to get started. All told, I settled in very fast and loved working in the USA.

Pratik Narkhede
Pratik had been employed by the Brückner Group India as a Senior SAP Consultant since 2020. Through close cooperation with his colleagues, he gradually became part of the team in Germany. Even while still living in India.
Moving to Germany was the next logical step for me
Today he works on site with the team in Siegsdorf – bringing both his SAP expertise and intercultural experience to bear.

Adele Jaschik
Adele Jaschik has been CFO of the Brueckner Group USA since August 1, 2025. She successfully participated in the Brückner Group’s international management development program.
I started as an international accountant before switching to the Brückner Group’s corporate consolidation department in 2016. Now I look forward to continuing my career abroad and the opportunity to get to know new cultures and working environments.

Career, culture, and opportunities
A report from Suzhou
Pascal Fuchs has been the Sales and Service Director at Brueckner Group China Co., Ltd. in Suzhou since January 2024. While studying vehicle technology at TU Braunschweig, he took advantage of the opportunity to stay in China for longer periods. He now speaks and writes fluent Chinese.

I studied the language intensively. The grammar is not as complicated as you might think.
Even while he was a student in Asia, Pascal was aware of the Brückner Group, which has been present in the Chinese market for a long time.
After earning his master’s degree in automotive engineering from Tongji University, Pascal joined Kiefel GmbH in Bavaria, a Brückner Group company, as Area Sales Manager for the Chinese and Indian market.
What made you decide to join the Brückner Group as your next career step in 2017?
In addition to the Group’s position as a technological leader, its international orientation appealed to me, especially its focus on China.
What is a typical workday like in China?
The combination of Chinese work culture and our Made in Germany approach is truly exciting. Germany stands for quality and reliability, while in China you experience unbridled entrepreneurship and the ability to quickly implement innovations. It is this combination that makes the Brückner Group so strong here in China.
What can we learn from China?
The culture surrounding mistakes is different here. People aren’t afraid to take risks. Mistakes and setbacks are viewed as a normal part of the development process.
What advice do you have for any colleagues also interested in pursuing an international career?
Be persistent and show initiative. Take a proactive approach with those responsible and make suggestions. Don’t just think in terms of quick wins – the entire secondment experience will bring you long-term success in your professional and personal life. Instead of thinking about all the ways it won’t work out, find ways to make it possible. The great thing is, the Brückner Group supports international careers and will definitely help you reach your goals.
In summary, qualified employees’ international experiences not only expand their personal and professional horizons, but also improve the Brückner Group’s overall development and solution expertise. After all, every innovation begins with one crucial first step: the ability to see the bigger picture.
